I don’t photograph weddings as a sequence of expected moments. I’m more interested in rhythm, tension, interruption — the things that make a day feel alive.

I’m drawn to film for the same reason. Not because it looks nostalgic, but because it leaves a little friction in the image: grain, movement, light that isn’t too perfect.

I’m not trying to make the day prettier than it was, but trying to return it with its pulse intact.
